When someone gets sick or disabled and can no longer work, they can turn to Social Security and ask for disability benefits. For Richards, it would pay him about $1,000 a month.

August 26, 2009 – Social Security cost-of-living FREEZE…
My wife and I, and my parents went to the Mt. Timpanogos temple last night. It was a good experience. My parents leave for a mission for the LDS church on Monday. They are going to be serving in the Office in the Baltimore Maryland. It was good to be able to go to the Temple one more time with them before they leave. We are heading up to Bountiful on Sunday for their setting apart, and then the kids will probably not see their Grandparents for the next 18 months while they server the Lord.
