Temptation Vs Sin

This is one of the biggest things that I think causes issued with people of the Mormon faith.  And I would say it also causes problems with most Christian faiths as well.  That is the difference between Temptation and Sin.

For most of my life, I was under the impression that Temptation was Sin.  If you were tempted to do something, then you had actually sinned in some way.  I think that it comes from several scriptures, as well as other peoples teachings.  In Matthew 5:28 it says, “That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her had committed …

10  In the midst of this WAR OF WORDS and TUMULT OF OPINIONS, I often said to myself: What is to be done? Who of all these parties are right; or, are they all wrong together? If any one of them be aright, which is it,
